The Webber International Bowling program is holistic in nature. In addition to gaining world class bowling knowledge as an individual and team player, the program will include fitness and strength training designed to improve performance, prevent injury, and the development of the mental game.
The Webber bowling program desires student athletes who are serious about both bowling and academics. Webber International competes in USBC Collegiate events throughout the country in an effort to obtain a bid to compete in the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships.
Webber International University bowling team trains at the world famous Kegel Training Center in Lake Wales, Florida. Only a 7 mile drive from campus, the facility has Specto on every lane allowing coaches to measure up to 35 data points including ball speed, target accuracy, launch angle and rev rate. In addition, we have three coaching stations equipped with high speed video cameras from a front, side and rear view. The team trains on challenging lane conditions on the flattest bowling lanes in the world.
