The USBA Tournament Series was at Merle Hay Lanes in Des Moines, Iowa on April 22, 2018 for the first time. The tournament had 19 youth entries and awarded $596 in scholarships in 2 different flight categories. High qualifier for the day was Alec Dudley. Today’s Last Chance Shoot Out winner for $40 was Alec Reseland. The bowlers battled on WTBA Beijing. Congratulations to Megan Hess for winning her spot at Jr Gold in Dallas.
Congratulations to Payne Fakler and Brandon Freese for both shooting 300 games!
Des Moines also had 5 bowlers in our adult division with $125 in prize money.

In the first stepladder match, Caleb Baker defeated Brandon Freese 249-180. In the final match, Alec Dudley and Caleb Baker tied with 199 to force a 9th and 10th frame roll off. Alec defeated Caleb 49-40.

In the first stepladder match, Chris Ray defeated Cody Reseland 140-124. In the final match, Tim Lincoln defeated Chris Ray 174-168.

In the first stepladder match, Stephanie Bitner defeated Brandon Bitner 202-193. In the final match, Stephanie Bitner defeated Trevor Blessing Light 233-231.
